Norman Eging

NORMAN H. EGING age 94,  beloved husband for 72 years of the late Dorothy (nee Katuc); loving father of Connie Huston and Ron (wife Jeannine); devoted grandfather of Heather Fulton (husband Scott) and great-grandfather of TJ and Ben Harmon; cherished son of the late Alfred and Lenna (nee Randles); dearest brother of Lorene Parsons and the late Ray.

Norman was born on May 6, 1925 in Claridon, OH and passed away on June 4, 2019. A lifelong resident of Geauga County, he was known and loved by all. He proudly served in the United States Navy. After, learning how to repair Maytag washers and dryers, he became the “Maytag Repair Man”. Norman serviced the appliances all around the area, and he became the go to guy. Aside from being a helpful hand, Norman was a man that anyone could sit and talk to. With his great conversations and dry sense of humor, he was a friend to everyone.

A private graveside service will be held at Hambden Township Cemetery.
