NORMA D. COINER (nee Cole), age 82; beloved wife of the late Charles; loving mother of Charles Jr. (deceased), Susan Pustai, Vicki Swearingen, Thomas (wife Marita) and John (wife Barbara); devoted grandmother of 13 and great-grandmother of 18; cherished sister of Martha Bane and preceded in death by 4 brothers and 4 sisters; dear aunt and great-aunt of many.

Norma was born on February 4, 1931 in Coal City, West Virginia. She died on August 29, 2013 at her home in West Salem, Ohio. Norma previously resided in Chesterland before moving to West Salem. She was a member of the Eastern Star Windermere Chapter #388 OES. Norma was a receptionist for a manufacturing company. She enjoyed reading and spending time with her family. Norma’s family remembers her as a giving, generous and caring person.

Contributions may be made in Norma’s memory to Teddy Swearingen Benefit Fund, c/o any PNC Bank location. A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Wednesday, September 4, 2013 at 12 NOON at THE DeJOHN-FLYNN-MYLOTT FUNERAL HOME OF SOUTH EUCLID, 4600 MAYFIELD RD. (just east of Green Rd.). Burial following at Acacia Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends to pay tribute to and celebrate the life of Norma at the Funeral Home on TUESDAY from 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 -9:00 PM. Eastern Star Service by Windermere Chapter #388 OES on TUESDAY at 8:00 PM.
