Nora Tambascio

NORA G. TAMBASCIO (nee Rondini), aged 92 years, beloved wife of 62 years to the late Robert; dearest mother of Robert T, deceased (wife Carol Koehler), and Diane Stimburys (husband Richard Smith); loving grandmother of Donna Tanner (husband David), Mary Ticchione (husband William, Sr.), Kevin Tambascio (wife Sara), and David Tambascio; adoring great-grandmother of Madeline Tanner, William Ticchione Jr. and Ethan Tambascio; cherished daughter of the late Arthur and Mary (nee Toss) Rondini; dear aunt and great-aunt to many.

Nora was a New Year’s baby, born in Cleveland on January 1, 1925. She grew up working and waitressing in her family’s restaurant, Rondini’s. She was a member of Sacred Heart of Jesus Parish since 1964.

Nora was a fashionable traditionalist with a sassy spirit. She always wore the latest trends, and was never seen without her makeup and hair done. She loved to golf and play cards, go on casino trips, and dance to Big Band music. Her favorite family times were gathering together for holidays, when she would cook and teach the grandchildren to count change with the old cash register in the basement. Nora will be missed by so many.

Mass of Christian Burial Wednesday, Oct 25, 2017 at St. Gregory the Great Catholic Church of Sacred Heart of Jesus Parish at 11 AM. Entombment Whitehaven Mausoleum.

Family will receive friends at THE DeJOHN-FLYNN-MYLOTT FUNERAL HOME OF SOUTH EUCLID, 4600 MAYFIELD RD. (just East of Green Rd.) TUESDAY 3-7 PM.
