NICOLETTE L. JOHNS ‘NIKKI ‘, (nee Nardolillo), entered eternal peace Sept. 17, 2007. Nikki’s love and life left her personal imprint on everyone and everything she touched. Cherished wife for 47 years and life long partner of Michael J., dearly loved mother of Michael N. (Debi), Mark (Shelley), Marianne Parkinson (Steve), Monica Montani, Marcia, and Michelle Shaw (James), treasured grandmother of Liz, Michael, Christina, Allison, Emily, Elise, Julia, Jimmy, Colette, Drew, Katie, and her special angels Nicholas and Talia, beloved daughter of the late Nicholas and Frances (nee Zingales) Nardolillo, sister of Loretta King (Joseph), Rose Marie Simak (Lawrence – deceased), Christopher Nardolillo (deceased) and Francine Nardolillo. She leaves behind a host of extended family and friends who will cherish her memory.Nikki was a graduate of St. Ann Elementary School, Beaumont High School, and Barat College of the Sacred Heart in Lake Forrest, IL. She was a founding member of Holy Angels Catholic Church where she sang in the choir. Nikki was a long-time supporter and offered many acts of service to Rotary International along with her husband Mike. She was a retired school teacher from the Kenston School system and also taught many years at St. Louis School and Greenview Junior High. Nikki was a master at Scrabble games and cross word puzzles and was most devoted to her family and her grandchildren who gave her tremendous joy. Her family describes her as having a true zest for life and was most devoted to her family, faith, and friends.
