Nicola T. “Nick” Nero

NICOLA T. “NICK” NERO age 83, beloved husband for 59 years of Maria F. “Mary” (nee Suglia); loving father of Mario, Daniel and the late Nick Jr. and Anthony; devoted grandfather of 10 and great-grandfather of 8; dear brother-in-law, uncle and great-uncle of many.

Nick was born on July 16, 1933 in Montnerodomo, Italy and passed away October 2, 2016 in Cleveland, Ohio. Nick has lived in Mayfield Heights and attended St. Clare Catholic Church for the past 60 years. He was a chrome plater and retired from General Electric. Nick belonged to the Mayfield Heights Bocce League, loved professional wrestling and listening to Italian music. He was quiet and reserved, friendly, hardworking and had a great sense of humor. Nick will be remembered best as a wonderful husband, father and grandfather.

Mass of Christian Burial Thursday, October 6, 2016 at St. Clare Catholic Church at 10:30 AM. Entombment following at Knollwood Mausoleum. Family will receive friends to pay tribute to and celebrate the life of Nick at THE DeJOHN-FLYNN-MYLOTT FUNERAL HOME OF SOUTH EUCLID, 4600 MAYFIELD RD. (just east of Green Rd.) WEDNESDAY 4-8 PM.
