NICOLA “NICK” MARCKESE, aged 85 years, beloved husband of the late Loyal Ann “Judy” (nee Gallo) and the late Laura Czerwony, cherished companion to Antoinette Randazzo, dearest father of Susan Basom (husband Bruce), Jeffrey N. (deceased) (wife Josephine), Robert Czerwony (wife Barb), Richard Czerwony (wife Robin) and Denise Frey (husband Dan), loving grandfather of Scott and Timothy Basom, Nicholas and Nisa Marckese, Cathy Ann Miller (Tim), Heather Seiler (Scott), Melissa Czerwony, Danielle Griggs (Nelson) Michael Czerwony, Kate Hall (Eric) and Matthew Frey, treasured great-grandfather of Brittney (Cory), Hayden, Dana, Alison, Nelson Jr., and Damien, great-great-grandfather of Colin, devoted brother of Grace Madden (William), Jacob Corea and the late Giuseppe and Ignatius Marckese, also survived by his special friends Stuart Gardner and the Basom, Randazzo, and Cipriano families. Mr. Marckese was a U.S. Army Veteran of W.W. II, was a Postal Executive who retired in 1983, and served as Chairperson for the Audit Committee of the Ohio First Class Credit Union.

Mass of Christian Burial Friday, Jan. 11, 2013 at St. Clare Catholic Church at 10:30 AM. Burial with military honors following in All Souls Cemetery. Family will receive friends to pay tribute and celebrate the life of Nick at THE DeJOHN-FLYNN-MYLOTT FUNERAL HOME OF SOUTH EUCLID, 4600 MAYFIELD RD. (just East of Green Rd.) THURSDAY 3-5 AND 6-8 PM. ”
