NANCY S. SETTEVENDEMIE (nee Valenti), age 100; beloved wife of the late Quirino “Steve”; loving mother of Gaetana Stakich (husband James, deceased), Linda Kelly (husband Michael) and Nancy Goede Gardner (husband Dennis); devoted grandmother of Steven Stakich, Amy Stakich Nageotte (Daniel), David Goede (Nikki), Ryan Kelly (Kim), Anthony Kelly, Nicholas Goede (Tiffany) and great-grandmother of 10 ½; cherished daughter of the late Angelo and Margaret (nee Lensoverino) Valenti; dearest sister of the late Basil and Frank Valenti and Pauline Folino; dear aunt and great-aunt of many.
Nancy was a resident of Lyndhurst since 1958, formerly of East Cleveland. She was a parishioner of St. Clare Catholic Church since 1958 and was married in Holy Rosary Catholic Church. Nancy was a volunteer with Hillcrest Hospital for 25 years and was a member of the seniors group at the Ross DeJohn Center. She graduated from John Hay High School and enjoyed being a homemaker. Nancy loved gambling, especially slots, and golf at Orchard Hills. She also enjoyed bingo, bowling and playing cards, especially poker. Nancy will be remembered by her family as vivacious, gregarious, outgoing and happy. She loved people, singing, dancing and was very social. Nancy will be greatly missed.

Relatives and friends are invited to meet for the Mass of Christian Burial Wednesday, March 23, 2016 at Holy Rosary Catholic Church 12021 Mayfield Rd Cleveland, OH 44106 at 10 AM. Burial following at Knollwood Cemetery. Family will receive friends to pay tribute to and celebrate the life of Nancy following the burial for a reception in the Community Room at THE DeJOHN-FLYNN-MYLOTT FUNERAL HOME OF SOUTH EUCLID, 4600 MAYFIELD RD. (just east of Green Rd.).
