Nancy Lee Vickery

Nancy Lee (Fancy Nancy to her favorite cousin Marlene) was an extraordinary burst of glitter and joy! Both fluent in blarney and blessed with the gift of gab, she was generous beyond measure with anything else she could give, be it help, time, love or shekels (her word for money). Anyone lucky enough to get to visit never left empty handed, even her local pizza delivery knew her by name & were sad to hear of her passing. Nancy made sure all she encountered felt loved and appreciated.

Nancy enjoyed cross stitching, spending time in the Metroparks or by the lake, could dance like crazy and started every day in a great mood, happy to have woken up. She taught her children and grandchildren to appreciate everything, be it pausing to gaze at the moon, snuggle up with a snack plate and watch a lightning storm in the middle of the night. Her cooking was legendary and a standard to aspire to.

In lieu of flowers, please make charitable donations to Hospice of the Western Reserve, Euclid Pet Pals, your local pet rescue or shelter. In Nancy’s memory, hug each other a little tighter, have a cup of ‘Irish-ed up’ coffee and take a moment to appreciate all the glittery goodness this world has to offer. ( We are pretty confident Nancy Lee invented Glitter.)

Burial at All Souls Cemetery will take place on Saturday, January 29, 2022 at 11:30am. Family and friends are to meet at the cemetery at 11:20am to process in together. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. Services under the direction of  THE DeJOHN-FLYNN-MYLOTT FUNERAL HOME OF WILLOUGHBY HILLS.
