Mouhiba Sahlani

MOUHIBA M. SAHLANI  age 80, beloved wife for 61 years of Michael; loving mother of Janet Sahlani (husband Kamal Sahlani, M.D.), Najah Sahlani (husband Michael), Gloria Richa (husband Abdo), Naji (wife Elizabeth) and Nouhad Zoghaib (husband Rachid); devoted grandmother of 15; cherished daughter of the late Khalil and Hanneh (nee Daher) Sahlani; dearest sister of Labib Sahlani (wife Mouhiba), John Sahlani (wife Nahi), Michel Sahlani (wife Sabina), the late Habib Sahlani (wife Mary), and Mouhib Sahlani; dear aunt and great-aunt of many.

Mouhiba was a resident of Aurora for 2 years formerly of Richmond Heights. She was a 25 year member of St. Maron Catholic Church. Mouhiba was a homemaker and she enjoyed cooking, sewing, and making dresses. Her family and friends would describe her as giving, caring, loving, faithful, and always concerned for her family. She was one of the kindest people you could ever meet. She opened her heart and her home to many of her relatives over the years. She always wanted a home filled with love and happiness. No matter what was going on, and no matter how busy she was, she was always ready to give big hugs to her children and grandchildren. The type of things that make you feel you are the only child in the world. Mouhiba will be dearly missed.

Mass of Christian Burial Monday, May 2, 2016 at St. Maron Catholic Church, 1245 Carnegie Ave, Cleveland, OH 44115 at 10 AM. Burial following at Knollwood Cemetery. Family will receive friends to pay tribute to and celebrate the life of Mouhiba at THE DeJOHN-FLYNN-MYLOTT FUNERAL HOME OF SOUTH EUCLID, 4600 MAYFIELD RD. (just east of Green Rd.) SUNDAY 4-8 PM. Prayers of incense Sunday 7 PM.
