Milka Jurcevic

MILKA JURCEVIC (nee Medved) age 66, beloved wife for 49 years of Mile; loving mother of Barbara Feisthamel (husband James) and Josip (wife Vedrana); devoted grandmother of Ethan, Michael, Alexis, and Alen; cherished daughter of the late Ivan and Bare (nee Mesic) Medved; dearest sister of the late Milan (wife Marija) and Slavko Medved (wife Marija); treasured daughter-in-law of Anka (nee Stepic) and the late Joso Jurcevic; dear sister-in-law, aunt and great-aunt of many.

Milka was born on April 13, 1954 in Cetingrad, Croatia and passed away on January 19, 2021. She moved to Cleveland from Croatia in 1971 and has lived in Chesterland since 1994. Milka worked for General Motors as an assembler. She loved cooking, baking, gardening, and shopping. Milka enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, watching HGTV and loved the Cleveland Cavs. She will be remembered most as a social, organized, giving, and helping woman who was faithful to her faith. Milka was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother and will be dearly missed.

Mass of Christian Burial Saturday, January 23, 2021 at St. Anselm Catholic Church at 12 NOON (Mass will be livestreamed at www.stanselm.org, or visit the St. Anselm Facebook page at www.facebook.com/SaintAnselmChurch). Burial following at All Souls Cemetery. Family will receive friends to pay tribute to and celebrate the life of Milka at THE DeJOHN FUNERAL HOME & CELEBRATIONS CENTER OF CHESTERLAND 12811 CHILLICOTHE ROAD (Rt. 306, just south of Mayfield Rd.)  FRIDAY 4-8 PM.
