Mildred Markowitz

MILDRED MARKOWITZ (nee Whippo) age 99, passed away on November 23, 2019. She was born August 20, 1920 in Cleveland, Ohio to the late Fannie Friedman and William Whippo. Mildred was the beloved wife of Raymond Markowitz (deceased), mother of Barbara Markowitz (Harry Farkas), grandmother of Melanie Markowitz and Melissa Wood (Chris). She is also survived by a brother-in-law, nieces and nephews.

She was a magical woman and a gentle soul who cared deeply about her family. She was greatly loved and will be missed by all who knew her.

Family will receive friends to pay tribute to and celebrate the life of Mildred at THE DeJOHN-FLYNN-MYLOTT FUNERAL HOME OF SOUTH EUCLID, 4600 MAYFIELD RD. (just east of Green Rd.) MONDAY, DECEMBER 2, 2019 11-1 PM. BURIAL FOLLOWING at Lakeview Cemetery. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made in memory of Mildred to Sanctuary for Senior Dogs or a charity of your choice.
