MILAN M. PLUT age 96, was born on June 22, 1920 in Euclid and passed away on October 23, 2016. He was the beloved husband of the late Mary A. (nee Skul); loving father of Thomas (wife Mary Beth); devoted grandfather of Thomas (wife Julie), Emily Laeng (husband Adam), Aaron (wife Liz) and Old Pa of Jacob and Sydney Laeng, Owen and Olivia Plut.
Milan was a resident of Chardon and a member of St. Mary Catholic Church for 15 years. He resided previously in Euclid and was a member of St. Roberts Catholic Church. Milan was a member of the Euclid Historical Society, Euclid FOP and was a World War II U.S. Marine Corps Veteran. He graduated from Shore High School in 1939 and was a police officer for the Euclid Police Department. Milan loved to golf and enjoyed being a handy man around his home. He will be remembered as having a good and big heart, outgoing, gentle and friendly. Milan had a wonderful sense of humor and was everyone’s Grandpa. He will be greatly missed.

Mass of Christian Burial Friday, October 28, 2016 at Divine Word Catholic Church at 10 AM. Burial following with Military Honors at All Souls Cemetery. Family will receive friends to pay tribute to and celebrate the life of Milan at the DeJOHN FUNERAL HOME & CREMATORY OF CHARDON (formerly Ritondaro) 126 SOUTH ST. (Rt. 44, south of Rt. 6/Chardon Square) THURSDAY 5-8 PM.
