MIHELA LESICA (nee Kastelic) age 90, beloved wife of the late Evarist; loving mother of Lucy Colo (husband Joseph), Irene Druzina (husband David) and Debbie Keresztesy (husband Michael) ; devoted grandmother of Tony Colo, Kristina Kaczmarski (husband Kevin), Thomas Druzina (wife Jane), Erika Critell (husband Jonathan), Kati Druzina, Andrew Druzina, Amanda, Alexandra, Audra, Anna, Ava, Matthew and Michael Keresztesy and great-grandmother of Lily and Mia; cherished daughter of the late Jozef and Franciska (nee Nose) Kastelic; dearest sister of Kristinca (Sr. Lea, SSK) Kastelic and the late Anton, Lojzka (Sr. Januarija, SSK), Rozalij (Sr. Januarija, SSK), Joze, Micka (Sr. Urlika, SSK), Albin, and Franc Kastelic; dear aunt and great-aunt of many. Mihela was born on July 4, 1933 and passed away on February 27, 2024. She was born in Slovenia and came to the U.S. in 1957. She married her beloved husband Evarist in 1961and they had three daughters. Mihela worked for Euclid Hospital and Euclid High School. She loved to garden and bake and spend time with her family. She also loved polka music and Slovenian ballads. Her family will always remember her as hard working, fierce and industrious. She was hospitable, creative, loyal, kind, playful and tolerant. Mihela was a remarkable woman who always had a can-do attitude. She will be missed greatly by all who knew and loved her. Mass of Christian Burial Saturday, March 2, 2024, at St. Mary Catholic Church, 15519 Holmes Avenue, Cleveland at 10 AM. Burial following at All Souls Cemetery.
