Michael Pezzente

MICHAEL PEZZENTE, JR age 66, beloved husband for 46 years of Nancy (nee Sample); loving father of Michael III, John, and Elizabeth Sarnowski (husband Stan); devoted Papa of Sofia, Stella, and Eva; cherished son of Catherine (nee Arrigo) and the late Michael, Sr; dearest brother of Michele MacDonald, Bernardino, and Terri Ann; uncle of Jessica and Larry; special brother-in-law of the late Brian Sample; dear nephew, cousin and friend.

Mike was born on June 19, 1951 in Cleveland and passed away on October 9, 2017 surrounded by his loving family. He was a resident of Chesterland for 56 years, formerly of Little Italy. Mike graduated from West Geauga High School in 1970 and was a truck driver for the Plain Dealer. He loved working on cars, projects around the house both large and small and maintaining his yard. Mike especially enjoyed Christmas and his Disney Christmas collection. Mike will be remembered most as a strong-willed, hardworking, independent, quiet and reserved man. He had a sense of humor and loved to laugh. Mike will be greatly missed.

Relatives and friends are invited to meet for the Mass of Christian Burial Monday, October 16, 2017 at 11 AM at St. Anselm Catholic Church 12969 Chillicothe Road, Chesterland, OH 44026. Cremation following by DeJohn Crematory. Private inurnment at Western Reserve Memorial Gardens Cemetery. Family will receive friends to pay tribute to and celebrate the life of Mike at THE DeJOHN FUNERAL HOME & CELEBRATIONS CENTER OF CHESTERLAND 12811 CHILLICOTHE ROAD (Rt. 306, just south of Mayfield Rd.) SUNDAY 2-7 PM.
