Michael “Mick” Buynak

MICHAEL J. “MICK” BUYNAK age 71, beloved husband for 51 years of Cathy (nee Crowe); loving father of Michael (wife Natalie) and Matthew (wife Christina); devoted grandfather of Angelina, Charles, Lillian, Madelynn and Christopher Buynak; cherished son of the late Michael and Angeline (nee Argenzio); dearest brother of Vincent (wife Deborah) and brother-in-law of Connie Wallace (husband Timothy); dear uncle, great-uncle and friend of many.

Michael was born on March 23, 1951, and passed away on March 6, 2023. He grew up in Lyndhurst and graduated from Brush High School in 1969. Michael was a dedicated AT&T lineman for over 30 years. He and his wife Cathy traveled all over the US including an amazing trip on an Alaskan cruise. Michael truly enjoyed the craft of woodworking and was good at it. He made beautiful corn hole boards for his kids, special gifts for his grandkids and holiday decorations for both the front porch and dining table. Michael was hardworking and wholeheartedly dedicated to his family, especially his grandkids. There wasn’t ever a time he missed a sporting event, dance recital, school function or just time spent with them at home. Michael will be remembered most as being an honest, kind hearted man who loved his family. He will forever be missed.
