Michael Lalich

MICHAEL “MICK” LALICH age 62, beloved husband for 39 years of Nina (nee Lyle); loving father of Michael (wife Christine) and Daniel; cherished son of the late Melvin and Irene Mae (nee Kozer); dearest brother of Marie Lalich, Melanie Presler (husband Fred), Carolyn Estabrook (husband Donald), Melvin Jr., and the late Susan O’Brien (husband Kelly); dear son-in-law, brother-in-law, uncle, and great-uncle of many.

Mick was born on December 29, 1953 in San Antonio, Texas and passed away on April 17, 2016. He was a resident of Chagrin Falls since 1999, previously residing in Cincinnati for 20 years. Mick grew up in Newbury and graduated from Newbury High School. He attended Kent State University and the University of Cincinnati. Mick was an owner/operator of a painting contractor business. He was an avid reader, fisherman and a great chef. Mick loved stained glass, was a history buff and collected Ohio Indian artifacts. He will be remembered by his family and friends as an outgoing man who loved to tell stories. Mick had a good sense of humor, loved to learn and was very giving and generous of his time. Mick was a good friend to a lot of people and will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

Celebration of Life Service Thursday, April 21, 2016 at 11 AM at THE FUNERAL HOME. Burial following at Munn Cemetery. Family will receive friends to pay tribute to and celebrate the life of Mick at THE DeJOHN FUNERAL HOME & CELEBRATIONS CENTER OF CHESTERLAND 12811 CHILLICOTHE ROAD (Rt. 306, just south of Mayfield Rd.)  WEDNESDAY 5-8 PM.
