MICHAEL L. DiNALLO age 59, beloved husband for 33 years of Lori (nee Lewins); loving father of Vincent (wife Brittany), Joseph, Sally and Daniel; cherished son of Giocondino and the late Antoinette (nee Discenza); dearest brother of Lucy, David (wife Theresa) and Lisa Formichelli (husband Frank); treasured son-in-law of William Lewins and the late Geraldine (nee Dotson); dearest brother-in-law of Sharon Colescott (husband Phil), Sandra Alioto (husband Salvatore), William Lewins (wife Lisa) and John Lewins (wife Karen) and the late Daniel Gebing; dear uncle, great-uncle, nephew, cousin and friend to many.

Mike was born on September 29, 1957, and passed away on December 17, 2016. He was a 26-year resident of Painesville, previously of Willoughby. He graduated from Mayfield High School in 1975, then worked as a crane operator at LTV Steel for 26 years before becoming the owner/operator of Mike’s Hauling. His hobbies included hunting, playing video games, reading and studying history, and making wine with his family and lifelong friends. He liked listening to Dean Martin, Louie Prima, and Frank Sinatra, and he enjoyed spending time on the lake at his cottage in Rome, Ohio.

Mike believed strongly in the value of work, fun, and faith in God. He had strong, deep connections with his family, friends, and business associates. He was always generous, had a great sense of humor, and was an uncommonly gifted storyteller. His wit, laughter, and hospitality will be missed at the tables of many, but his stories will continue to be told.

Celebration of Life Service Thursday, December 22, 2016 at 10 AM at Kirtland Christian Fellowship 10001 Chillicothe Rd. (306), Kirtland OH 44094. Burial following at All Souls Cemetery. Family will receive friends to pay tribute to and celebrate the life of Mike at THE DeJOHN FUNERAL HOME & CELEBRATIONS CENTER OF CHESTERLAND 12811 CHILLICOTHE ROAD (Rt. 306, just south of Mayfield Rd.) WEDNESDAY 4-8 PM.
