Mike was born on July 8, 1961 in Cleveland and passed away peacefully surrounded by family on October 11, 2020, after a lengthy illness. Mike’s life was defined by his faith and he is now healed and in the presence of Jesus. His faith was grounded on God’s promise of eternity. He was a lifelong resident of Mayfield Heights and graduated from Mayfield High School in 1979. Mike graduated from Liberty University in 1983 and worked as a computer programmer for Medical Mutual of Ohio, until his last days. He enjoyed golfing, gardening, and his Koi pond. Mike was a sports fan, played softball and was a die-hard Browns fan. Mike could be found regularly sitting on the deck with friends and spending time with family. He loved watching his boys play sports and Home Depot Saturday projects. Mike will be remembered most as a simple, strong, selfless and tender-hearted man who was a caregiver. He was quick witted with a dry sense of humor appreciated by all. Mike had a strong faith and will be dearly missed.

Family will receive friends to pay tribute to and celebrate the life of Mike at THE DeJOHN-FLYNN-MYLOTT FUNERAL HOME OF WILLOUGHBY HILLS, 28890 CHARDON ROAD (between Bishop Rd. and Rt. 91) THURSDAY 5-8 PM.
