Max Jeric

MAX JERIC, age 87, beloved husband of the late Maria (nee Zimmerman); loving father of Millie, Max (wife Barb), and Martin (wife Lori); devoted grandfather of Stacie Rhoades, Brittany Jeric-Smith, Vanessa, Jessica, and Melissa Jeric and great-grandfather of 5; cherished brother of Francka, Joze, Marko, Minka and Nejce Jeric, all of Europe; dear uncle and great-uncle of many.

Max was born on September 27, 1928 in Smartno, Slovenia and passed away on July 11, 2016. Max was a resident of Willoughby Hills since he built his home in 1965. He was a machinist for many years. Max was a founding member of Slovenska Pristava. He was a former board member of Collinwood Slovenian Home and Rehar Hall. Max loved playing balinca (bocci ball), hiking and walking. He enjoyed polkas and playing the Button Box. Max will be remembered by his family as a hardworking and proud man. He will be greatly missed.

Cremation by DeJohn Crematory. Relatives and friends are requested to meet for the Mass of Christian Burial Friday, July 15, 2016 at St. Mary Catholic Church 15519 Holmes Ave., Cleveland, OH 44110 at 10 AM. Burial following at All Souls Cemetery. Family will receive friends to pay tribute to and celebrate the life of Max at THE ZEVNIK-COSIC FUNERAL HOME 28890 CHARDON RD. (BETWEEN BISHOP RD AND RT. 91) WILLOUGHBY HILLS THURSDAY 3-5 & 6-8 PM.
