Mauro Jurisevic

Mauro "Mike" Jurisevic, 90, passed away on February 25, 2025.

Born on February 28, 1934, in Racja Vas, Istra Croatia. Mauro built a life defined by hard work, dedication, and love for family. A proud member of the Teamsters Local 507 for 29 years, he exemplified commitment and perseverance throughout his career.

Mauro was a devoted spouse to his beloved wife of 66 years, Maria (née Cerin), and a cherished father to Walter Jurisevic (Tatiana née Kerestes) and Susan Krejci (Patrick). He took great joy spending time with his grandchildren-Jonathan and Elizabeth Jurisevic, and Grace, Lauren, and Nicholas Krejci -finding happiness in watching them grow.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Maria Crnac and Anton Jurisevic, as well as his brothers Dario and Anton Jurisevic.

Beyond work and family, Mauro found fulfillment in gardening, making wine, playing bocci ball, grilling, and spending time with loved ones. His passion for gardening and crafting homemade wine reflected a deep appreciation for life's simple pleasures. As a person of Catholic faith, Mauro carried strong values that guided him throughout his life.

Family will receive friends to pay tribute to and celebrate the life of Mauro at THE DeJOHN-FLYNN-MYLOTT FUNERAL HOME OF WILLOUGHBY HILLS, 28890 CHARDON ROAD (between Bishop Rd. and Rt. 91) Monday, March 3, 2025, from 3-7 PM.

Please meet for a Mass of Christian Burial Tuesday, March 4, 2025, at St. Noel Catholic Church, 35200 Chardon Rd, Willoughby Hills, OH 44094, at 10AM.

Burial following at All Souls Cemetery.

Mauro's legacy of hard work and devotion to family will be fondly remembered by all who knew them.
