Maurice Wheeler

MAURICE E. WHEELER, age 79, beloved husband for 6 years of Barbara (nee Perry) and the late Frances (nee Garstenshlager) and Mary (nee Burrows); loving father of Russell (wife Vickie) and the late Maurice Albert; dearest step-father of Patricia Mudry (husband Mark), Jeffrey Morris (wife Andrea), Linda Tennison and James Eastman (wife Annie); devoted grandfather of Dustin (wife Toni), Lyndsey and Megan Wheeler and great-grandfather of Michaela, Abby and Glen; treasured son of the late Edward and Charlotte (nee Campbell); cherished brother of Phyllis Shreves (husband Robert), Gary Scott and Charlene Miller; dear uncle and great-uncle of many.

Maurice was born October 2, 1936 in Conneaut and passed away October 12, 2015 in Concord. He graduated from Conneaut High School in 1955 and attended Kent State University. Maurice worked as a Research Chemist for various companies, retiring from Soundwich of Cleveland in 2013 at the age of 77. He enjoyed gardening, fine wine and traveling the world. Hong Kong was his favorite destination. Maurice will be remembered as a hard worker and a jokester. His family will miss his loving, generous and giving nature and his great sense of humor.

Cremation by DeJohn Crematory. Graveside Service Saturday, October 17, 2015 at St. Joseph Cemetery on Rt. 20 in Conneaut at 11 AM. Arrangements by THE DeJOHN FUNERAL HOME & CREMATORY OF CHARDON.
