MAURICE A. RUELENS “Brud” “Marty”, aged 81 years, beloved husband for 56 years to Ellen (nee Bonner), dear father of Renee Srock (husband Matthew), Maurice C., Donna Trinkaus (husband James) and Tammy Key, loving grandfather of 11 and great-grandfather of 4.

Maurice, of Rittman, Ohio went home to be with the Lord on May 11, 2013 after a long battle with cancer. Born in Newark, NJ on April 24, 1932 Marty graduated from Irvington High School, NJ with the class of 1950. He served in the US Navy from 1951 to 1955.

Marty was married to Ellen June Bonner on March 24, 1957; they were married for 56 years. Marty worked as a superintendent of construction for 41 years. He was a member of the Free Masons, the American Legion, the Elk’s Club and was a skilled carver.

The family wishes to thank Hospice of Wayne County for their compassionate care and support during this difficult time. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Hospice of Wayne County, 2525 Back Orrville Rd., Wooster, OH. 44691.

The family will receive friends and family on Friday, May 17, 2013 from 5:00 to 8:00 pm at Ludwick Funeral Home, 333 Greenwich Street, Kutztown, Pennsylvania, 19530. A Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, May 18, 2013 at 10:00 am at Ludwick Funeral Home, followed by burial with Military Honors in Berks County Memorial Gardens, 201 Evansville Road, Fleetwood, Pennsylvania, 19522.
