Matt Vugrinec

MATT VUGRINEC age 83, beloved husband of Kristina (nee Horvat); loving father of Irene V. McGarvey (husband Timothy); devoted grandfather of Ethan McGarvey; cherished son of the late Matjas and Elizabeth (nee Lebar); dearest brother of Elizabeth Donko, Mary Vargo, Theresa Donko, Joe and Ivan Vugrinec, Ancka Leben and the late Steve Vugrinec; dear uncle and great-uncle of many.

Matt was a resident of Willoughby Hills for 50 years and a parishioner of St. John of the Cross for 40 years. He was a member of KSKJ Lodge #25 and volunteered his time at church. Matt was a machinist and enjoyed fishing and being outdoors. He was hardworking, giving of his time, outgoing and devoted to his family and faith. Matt will be dearly missed.

Mass of Christian Burial Monday, April 16, 2018 at St. John of the Cross Catholic Church at 10 AM. Burial following at All Souls Cemetery. Family will receive friends to pay tribute to and celebrate the life of Matt at THE ZEVNIK-COSIC FUNERAL HOME, 28890 CHARDON ROAD, WILLOUGHBY HILLS (between Bishop Rd. and Rt. 91) SUNDAY 2-6 PM.
