Maryalice M. O’Brien

MARYALICE M. O’BRIEN (nee Mittinger), born Aug. 31, 1927 and passed away Feb. 2, 2022 at the age of 94. Beloved wife for 42 years to the late Paul R., dearest mother of James P., Ph.D (Susie), Kathleen O’Brien-Engel, Annemarie Eriksen (Craig), Michael E. (deceased) (Karen), Mary Pat Corrigan (Dan) and Thomas R., loving grandmother and great-grandmother to many, devoted daughter of the late Eugene R. and Alice (nee McMonagle) Mittinger, cherished sister of Ann McGeary (John – deceased), fond aunt of 2 nieces and 1 nephew. Maryalice was a graduate of John Carroll University with a Bachelors Degree in Business Administration, and former president of the National Council of Catholic Women. In lieu of flowers, contributions in memory of Maryalice suggested to the St. Augustine Hunger Center, 2486 W. 14^th St., Cleveland, OH 44113.  Private family service with burial in All Souls Cemetery was held. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Mass of Christian Burial Tuesday, July 5, 2022 at Gesu Catholic Church at 11 AM. Reception following the Mass. Arrangements entrusted to THE DeJOHN-FLYNN-MYLOTT FUNERAL HOME OF SOUTH EUCLID.
