Relatives and friends are invited to meet for the Mass of Christian Burial of Mary V. (Wayman) Zagorski, 87, of Munson Township, at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 15, 2014, at Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary Catholic Church, 594 W. Main St., Geneva. Fr. Melvin Rusnak will be the officiant. Burial will follow at Chardon Cemetery.
Mrs. Zagorski passed away Feb. 11, 2014, at Chardon Healthcare.

Born April 28, 1926, in Painesville, Mary had been a resident of Munson Township for five years, after moving from Ashtabula. She was a member of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary Catholic Church since 1978. She worked as a meat packer at Kresses Grocery Store for many years.

In her free time, Mary enjoyed gardening, crocheting, quilting and listening to Patsy Cline and big band music. Her family will remember her as a loving, caring, kind, faithful and gentle soul who was always in a good mood.

Survivors are her son, John (Pamela) Zagorski of Sumter, S.C.; daughter, Elaine (Michael) Bobincheck of Munson Township; and grandchildren, Joseph and Jonathon Zagorski. She was also the dear aunt and great-aunt of many.

Mary was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph; parents, Joseph and Gertrude (Foland) Wayman; brother, Joseph; and sisters, Pauline Beal, Lucy Tyla, Edna Sheldon, Mildred Bork, Hilda Rose and Ellen Augustine.

Family will receive friends to pay tribute to and celebrate the life of Mary from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at The DeJohn Funeral Home and Crematory of Chardon (formerly Ritondaro), 126 South St. (Route 44, south of Route 6/Chardon Square), Chardon.
