Mary Wozniak

MARY M. WOZNIAK (nee Prodan), age 86; beloved wife for 33 years of the late Elmer Henry; loving mother of Victoria Lynn, Richard Frank (Cynthia) and Katherine Mary (Rich); devoted grandmother of Major Jennifer Green (Jeff), Kristina Koenig (Trevor), Matthew, Andrew and Rebecca Wozniak, Rachel and Hannah Johnson, Benjamin Wozniak, Mariah Johnson, Nicholas Wozniak and Sarah Johnson and great-grandmother of Heidi, Elias, Logan and Ezra Ann; dearest daughter of the late Richard D. and Mary Katherine (nee Tuckish) Prodan; dear sister of Pauline Staroschack and the late Helen Herron and William Prodan.

Mary was born on September 13, 1929 in Carmichaels, Pennsylvania and passed away on October 8, 2015. She was a resident of Middlefield for 4 years, formerly of Mansfield for 25 years. Mary was a parishioner of St. Helen Catholic Church. She was involved with Caring Ministries and Nursing Home lunches. Mary worked at Betcher Manufacturing as a clerk. She loved knitting, crocheting and dogs. Mary’s grandchildren and great-grandchildren gave her the most enjoyment in life, especially when she was cooking for the holidays. Mary will be remembered by her family as a perfectionist, a great housekeeper and most of all a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.

Mass of Christian Burial Saturday, October 10, 2015 at St. Helen Catholic Church 12060 Kinsman Road, Newbury at 10 AM. Burial on Monday at Oak Grove Memorial Park Cemetery in Lexington, Ohio at 11 AM. Family will receive friends to pay tribute to and celebrate the life of Mary SATURDAY MORNING at the church 9-10 AM.
