Mary Sidoti

MARY N. SIDOTI (nee Marvaso) age 92, beloved wife of the late Joseph S.; loving mother of Robert (wife Christine) and the late Joseph A. (wife Nancy); devoted grandmother of Michelle DeMarco (husband Paul), Jennifer Walter (husband Tim) and Joanna Bohonos (husband Michael) and great-grandmother of Kaitlin, Gabriella, Nicolas and Dominic; cherished daughter of the late Michael and Alvira (nee Rinaldi) Marvaso; dearest sister of the late Ray, John, Elizabeth, and Robert Frederico, Alberta Gardini, Vincent Marvaso, and Frances Kurth; dear aunt and great-aunt of many.

Mary was born on June 20, 1927 in Binghamton, New York and passed away on June 17, 2020. She was a resident of Lyndhurst for 4 years, formerly of Richmond Heights. Mary attended Jane Adams High School and was a homemaker. She was a parishioner of St. John of the Cross and enjoyed visiting Our Lady of Lourdes Shrine in Euclid. Mary loved cooking, gardening, walking, and sweeping the garage. Traveling gave Mary the most enjoyment in life, especially her trips to Florida, Vegas, and Niagara Falls. She will be remembered most as a caring, giving, generous, funny, and social woman who had a good sense of humor. Mary was devoted to her family, friends and her church. She will be dearly missed.

In lieu of flowers contributions may be made in memory of Mary to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.

Private Family Mass and Burial. Family will receive friends to pay tribute to and celebrate the life of Mary at THE DeJOHN-FLYNN-MYLOTT FUNERAL HOME OF SOUTH EUCLID, 4600 MAYFIELD RD. (just east of Green Rd.) FRIDAY 4-6 PM (MASKS REQUIRED & SOCIAL DISTANCING).
