Mary Siciliano

Mary C. Siciliano (nee Lima), 98, entered into eternal life, March 23, 2016.

Born August 11, 1917 Johnstown, PA, Mary migrated with her husband to Cleveland in 1946. She was a homemaker before going back to work in 1966 as a secretary in the development Department at University Hospital. She retired in 1982.

Mary passed her time working on crossword puzzles and stitching embroidery. Mary’s family described her as a very bright, feisty lady that was strong willed with a good business sense. She was a wonderful cook that loved her family.

Mary is survived by her children, Stephen (wife Abbey)of Virginia, Leo of Montreal, twins Mary Ann Sarosy (husband Bob) of Lyndhurst, and Catherine of Mayfield Heights; grandchildren Andrew, Seth (wife Elizabeth), Jennifer Arlington (husband Mitchell), and Michelle Speidel (husband Nate) and great-grandchildren Lucy, Isla, Henry, Collin, Nora, and Paige; she was beloved aunt and great-aunt of many.

Mary was preceded in death by her husband Leo, her parents Sebastiano and Caterina Lima; brothers Antonio, Nino, Rev. Joseph C.PP.S, and Sebastian Lima and sisters Carmella Barbara and Nancy Balice.

The Mass of Christian Burial will be Tuesday, March 29, 2016 at St. Clare Catholic Church at 10:30 AM. Burial following at All Souls Cemetery. Family will receive friends to pay tribute to and celebrate the life of Mary at THE DeJOHN-FLYNN-MYLOTT FUNERAL HOME OF WILLOUGHBY HILLS, 28890 CHARDON ROAD (between Bishop Rd. and Rt. 91) MONDAY 4-8 PM.

Contributions may be made in Mary’s memory to Hospice of the Western Reserve 17876 St. Clair Ave. Cleveland, OH   44110
