Mary Schultz

MARY L. SCHULTZ (nee Fahey) age 91, beloved wife of the late Keith; loving mother of Ronald (wife Linda, nee Owen), Kenneth, Karen Van DeMotter (husband Neil) and the late David (wife Diane Ryan); devoted grandmother of Kim, Amy Varilek, Sarah, Tiffanie Julian, Ronald, Jr., Kevin, Jennifer Ramsey, Erin, great-grandmother of 15 and great-great-grandmother of 2; cherished daughter of the late Thomas and Mary (nee Kelly) Fahey; dearest sister of Imelda Alexander and the late Eleanor Iwuc, Thomas Fahey and Margaret Dixon; dear aunt and great-aunt of many.

Mary was born November 22, 1924 in Cleveland and passed away August 14, 2016. Mary was a resident of Mayfield Heights for most of her life, graduating from Mayfield High School in 1942. From 1982 – 2005, she lived in South Euclid, moving back to Mayfield Heights in 2005. Mary was the Assistant Treasurer at Ursuline College and enjoyed crocheting, bowling and watching the Cleveland Indians in her free time. She got the most enjoyment in life from her husband. Mary was strong-willed and determined, but also caring and giving. She loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.

Mass of Christian Burial Friday, August 19, 2016 at St. Clare Catholic Church at 9:30 AM. Burial following at All Souls Cemetery. Family will receive friends to pay tribute to and celebrate the life of Mary at THE DeJOHN-FLYNN-MYLOTT FUNERAL HOME OF SOUTH EUCLID, 4600 MAYFIELD RD. (just east of Green Rd.) THURSDAY 4-8 PM.
