Mary Rini

MARY RINI (nee Colonius) age 92, was born on July 15, 1925 in Minneapolis, Minnesota and passed away on July 20, 2017. She was the beloved wife of the late Charles N., II; loving mother of Charles N., III (wife Diana), James B. and Mary Lynn Rini; devoted grandmother of Ashley Munitz (Dan), Kevin Rini, twins Shelby and Shannon Rini, Dina Rini, Andrew Rini and Owen Allen and great-grandmother of Danica and Ariana Munitz; dearest sister of Helen Chavalia and the late Edward Colonius, Cecelia Colley, and Jerry Colonius; dear aunt and great-aunt of many.

Mary was a resident of Chesterland for 56 years and a member of St. Anselm Catholic Church. She was the owner/operator of Rini’s Villager Gift and Book. Mary loved to cook, work and was an avid reader. Spending time with her grandchildren and family gave Mary true joy in life. Cooking and baking for all holidays was a pleasure for Mary. She will be remembered most as a friendly, funny, amiable and sweet woman who always put her family first. Mary will be dearly missed.

Prayers of Christian Burial Saturday, July 29, 2017 at 10:30 AM at THE FUNERAL HOME. Family will receive friends to pay tribute to Mary at THE DeJOHN FUNERAL HOME & CELEBRATIONS CENTER OF CHESTERLAND 12811 CHILLICOTHE ROAD (Rt. 306, just south of Mayfield Rd.)  SATURDAY MORNING 9-10:30 AM.
