Mary Riedel

MARY G. RIEDEL (nee Conte), age 88; beloved wife of the late Christian; loving mother of Chris Kreiser, Grace Mannarino (husband Donald), Kathleen Michals (husband Bruce), Tina Riedel (partner Deborah Smith) and the late Stephen; devoted grandmother of Todd Kreiser (Staci), Nicholas (Bethany) and Tessa Mannarino, Lauren Warren, Ivy and India Riedel-Smith and great-grandmother of 3; cherished daughter of the late Frank and Marie (nee Ferrara) Conte; treasured sister of Caroline Peppers (husband James, deceased) and the late Eleanor Giamei; dear aunt and great-aunt of many; dearest friend of Irene Christopher.

Mary was a long-standing resident of Euclid and South Euclid since 1985 and was a member of St. Gregory Catholic Church. After attending Heights High School, she became a homemaker. Mary took great delight in gardening, especially her roses; but, she also loved to cook and sew and to solve word puzzles. She had a great love of music performed by Dean Martin. But her greatest love was her family. Mary will be remembered as friendly and outgoing, and always thinking of others.

Mass of Christian Burial Monday, February 16, 2015 at St. Gregory the Great Catholic Church of Sacred Heart of Jesus Parish at 11 AM. Burial following at All Souls Cemetery. Family will receive friends to pay tribute to and celebrate the life of Mary at THE DeJOHN-FLYNN-MYLOTT FUNERAL HOME OF SOUTH EUCLID, 4600 MAYFIELD RD. (just east of Green Rd.) SUNDAY 2-6 PM.
