MARY M. MAUCERI (nee Schifano) age 72, beloved wife for 49 years of the late Philip; loving mother of Philip (wife Danielle), John (wife Megan), Mary Montgomery (husband A.J.), and the late Alexandra Tudini (husband Steven); devoted grandmother of Danielle Cain (husband Dan), Marissa, Anthony, Stella, and Caitlin Mauceri, Christopher Montgomery, and great-grandmother of Billy, Jacob, and Christian; cherished daughter of the late Alex and Lena (nee Inzana) Schifano; dearest sister of Lenore Baker (husband Don); dear aunt, great-aunt, and cousin of many.
Mary was born in Cleveland on January 25, 1947, and passed away on January 9, 2020. She lived in Mayfield Heights, previously of South Euclid. Mary graduated from Brush High School in 1965, and was a homemaker. She was a member of St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church. An avid reader, Mary especially enjoyed mystery novels. She also enjoyed arts and crafts, cooking, and shopping. Mary was a fan of Motown music and Michael McDonald. She treated everyone like family, and was giving and generous as well as social, funny, and witty. Mary was a loving and devoted wife, mother, and grandmother, and she will be missed by all.
Mass of Christian Burial Tuesday, January 14, 2020 at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church at 10 AM. Cremation following by DeJohn Crematory. Private burial will take place at a later date. Family will receive friends to pay tribute to and celebrate the life of Mary at THE DeJOHN-FLYNN-MYLOTT FUNERAL HOME OF SOUTH EUCLID, 4600 MAYFIELD RD. (just east of Green Rd.) MONDAY 5-8 PM.
