Mary Lou Lambert

MARY LOU LAMBERT (nee Kiernan) age 86, beloved wife for 61 years of the late John F. “Jack”; loving mother of Lori Hoover (husband Jerry), Kathy Whitely (husband Dan), Patrick (wife Sara), Scott (wife Diane), and Mike (wife Jennifer); devoted grandmother of Jason (Julie), Ryan (fiancé Karalee) and Aaron Hoover, Gavin, Bryan, Morgan (fiancé Mike), Austin (fiancé Steffanie) and Nolan Whitely, Brandon, Justin and Shawn Lambert, Jacob and Joshua (wife Dora)  Schwartz, Jordan, Logan, Matt (wife Ashley) and Robby Lambert and great-grandmother of Ava and Addison; dearest sister of Maureen Salettal (Dennis); fond sister-in-law of Genie; dear aunt, family member, and friend of many.

Mary Lou was born November 15, 1935, and grew up in Cleveland, OH, where she graduated from Hoban Dominican High School in 1953. Strong in her faith, she was a lifelong Parishioner of St. Clare Catholic Church, where she belonged to the Healing Ministry and St. Clare Renewal. She enjoyed quilting, reading, swimming, and getting together with her friends, especially the Circle Club at St. Clare. Her devotion to her family went beyond measure. She found the greatest joy in family activities and being with her grandchildren; her grandchildren’s engagements and marriages were some of her favorite memories. Mary Lou lived joyously without any complaints. On July 8, 2022, she passed away, leaving the kindness, love, and care she instilled in her children as her legacy.

Mass of Christian Burial Thursday, July 14, 2022, at St. Clare Catholic Church at 10 AM.

Burial following at All Souls Cemetery.

Family will receive friends to pay tribute to and celebrate the life of Mary Lou at THE DeJOHN-FLYNN-MYLOTT FUNERAL HOME OF WILLOUGHBY HILLS, 28890 CHARDON ROAD (between Bishop Rd. and Rt. 91) WEDNESDAY 4-8 PM.
