Mary Lou Clucas

MARY LOU CLUCAS age 68; beloved daughter of the late Harry T. and Sarah A. (nee Wallace) Clucas; loving sister of Barbara Crawley (husband Thomas), Ellen Holly and Janet Angie (husband Robert); dear aunt, great-aunt , godmother and friend of many.

In lieu of flowers contributions may be made in Mary Lou’s memory to the Cleveland Foodbank; The City Mission or the charity of your choice.

Mary Lou was a Mayfield City School teacher and taught at Millridge Elementary School for 35 years. A lifetime resident of Mayfield Heights, she graduated from Mayfield High School in 1962 and went on to receive a Bachelor’s Degree and Master’s Degree. A member of Mayfield United Methodist Church, she was passionate about caring for the less fortunate. In her spare time, she enjoyed shopping for others and traveling a bit. Mary Lou will be remembered by many as a giving, generous woman who worked hard and was a conscientious teacher.

Cremation by DeJohn Crematory. Private inurnment at Knollwood Cemetery.

A Celebration of Life Service in memory of Mary Lou will be held on Friday, September 13, 2013 at 7:00 PM at THE DeJOHN-FLYNN-MYLOTT FUNERAL HOME OF WILLOUGHBY HILLS, 28890 CHARDON ROAD (between Bishop Rd. and Rt. 91). The family will receive friends to pay tribute to and celebrate the life of Mary Lou at the FUNERAL HOME on FRIDAY from 5:00 to 7:00 PM.
