Mary Korber

MARY KORBER (nee Zajc), age 99; beloved wife of the late Michael; loving mother of Marian Sprague and Michael; devoted grandmother of Jeanne Dranchak, Erika Marquis (husband Joel), Michelle Korber and great-grandmother of Jenna, Jillian, Scout and Bobby; dearest sister of Jennie Pograis (age 100) and the late Thomas Zajc and Margaret Sepchinski.

Mary was a resident of Euclid for the past two years after moving from Florida. She was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church in Collinwood. After graduating from High School, she was devoted to keeping a home and raising her family. In her later years, Mary enjoyed reading, listening to “Lawrence Welk” and Polka music. She also loved watching “Dancing with the Stars” and “The Bachelorette” with her sister and reading her “True Story” magazine. She will be remembered by many as a caring, giving, sweet, selfless woman who was a true romantic and put other people first.

Mass of Christian Burial Friday, October 31, 2014 at 10 AM at St. Mary Catholic Church, 15519 Holmes Ave., Cleveland, OH. Burial following at Western Reserve Memorial Gardens in Chesterland.

Family will receive friends to pay tribute to and celebrate the life of Mary at THE DeJOHN-FLYNN-MYLOTT FUNERAL HOME OF WILLOUGHBY HILLS, 28890 CHARDON ROAD (between Bishop Rd., and Rt. 91) THURSDAY 4-8 PM.
