Mary Jane Clark

MARY JANE CLARK (nee Boova) age 99, beloved wife of the late James P.; loving mother of John (wife Bonnie), Ann (deceased), Robert (wife Nancy), Kathy Kolar (deceased), and Margaret; dearest mother-in-law of Wanda Clark and Bob Kolar; devoted grandmother of William (Jeff) Melissa Seagro (Lori), Bridget Clark, Sarah Echan (husband Matthew), twins Chad (wife Carol Ann) and Rob (wife Stacey) Kolar and great-grandmother of Alexander, Tyler, Nolan, Noelle, Brady, Maggie, Clark, and Bennett; cherished daughter of the late Phillip and Santina (nee Comella) Boova; dearest sister of the late Augustus Boova (wife Marcella, deceased); dear aunt and great-aunt of many.

Mary Jane was born on January 13, 1924 in Lewistown, Pennsylvania. She attended high school in Pennsylvania before moving to Ohio. She was a resident of Mayfield Heights and Lyndhurst for thirty-four years where she was a faithful parishioner of St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church. She enjoyed family trips and hosting gatherings, especially around the holidays. Mary Jane loved cooking and baking. Her spaghetti sauce and meatballs were a fan favorite, along with her delicious biscotti and pizzelles. Perhaps her most treasured role was as a grandmother and great-grandmother. Being with her grandkids brought Mary Jane much joy and kept her active well into her later years. Mary Jane loved being active outdoors, frequently walking and participating in garden club meetings. She was musical and adored playing the piano. Her loved ones remember her kind, friendly, and gentle disposition. Those who knew Mary Jane will dearly miss her.
