MARY GRUM (nee Lavric), aged 86 years, beloved wife for 61 years to the late Jacob “Jack”, dear mother of Joseph (Ginger), Anna Paznar (Joseph) and Bernadette Plesnicar (Anthony – deceased), loving grandmother of 9 and great-grandmother of 4, cherished sister of Pavla, Ivan and the late France (all of Slovenia).
Mrs. Grum died Saturday, Sept. 7, 2013 at the hospital in Springfield, Missouri with her family at her side.
Mary was born on April 12, 1927 in Yugoslavia. She was a long time resident of Euclid and parishioner of the former St. Christine Catholic Church. She had worked in housekeeping for over 25 years at Bailey Meter. She was a very loving and devoted mother. She enjoyed knitting and baking, especially donuts, poticas and apple strudel. She will be dearly missed by her many friends.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, September 14, 2013 at Sts. Robert & William Catholic Church at 10:00 AM. Interment following in All Souls Cemetery. The family will receive friends to pay tribute and celebrate the life of Mary at THE DeJOHN-FLYNN-MYLOTT FUNERAL HOME OF WILLOUGHBY HILLS, 28890 CHARDON RD. (between Bishop Rd. and Rt. 91) on FRIDAY from 2:00 to 4:00 AND 6:00 to 8:00 PM.
