MARY T. GIBLIN (nee Duffy), age 81; beloved wife for 54 years of the late William “Frank”; loving mother of Marian Dodson (husband Dan), Kathy DeJohn (husband Joe), Linda Auger (husband Glenn), Ann Dever (husband Dan), Bill and Sharon Hoenigman (husband Dan), devoted grandmother of 12 and great-grandmother of 5, cherished daughter of the late Patrick and Marie (nee Brock) Duffy; dearest sister of Patrick Duffy (wife Mary, deceased); dear aunt, great-aunt, cousin and friend of many.

Mary was a resident of Highland Heights since 1989 after moving from South Euclid. She was a current member of St. Helen Catholic Church in Newbury and previous member of St. Paschal Baylon Catholic Church. A graduate of Ursuline Academy, Mary was a homemaker. In her free time, Mary enjoyed traveling, playing cards like “25” and Pinochle, watching movies and spending time with her family – especially sleepovers with the grandchildren. Her family will remember her as a loving, joyful, exuberant woman who loved life, had a great sense of humor and was truly one-of-a-kind.

In lieu of flowers contributions may be made in Mary’s memory to Fr. James O’Donnell at Little Brothers and Sisters of the Eucharist 2186 E. 35th St Cleveland, OH 44115 or Hospice of the Western Reserve 17876 St. Clair Ave Cleveland, OH 44110.

Relatives and friends are invited to meet for the Mass of Christian Burial Saturday March 8, 2014 at 10 AM at St. Helen Catholic Church 12060 Kinsman Rd, Newbury, OH 44065. Burial following at All Souls Cemetery.

Family will receive friends to pay tribute to and celebrate the life of Mary at THE DeJOHN-FLYNN-MYLOTT FUNERAL HOME OF WILLOUGHBY HILLS, 28890 CHARDON ROAD (between Bishop Rd. and Rt. 91) FRIDAY 4-8 PM
