MARY GRACE “Mimi” GENTILE (nee Carmigiano) age 71, beloved wife for 44 years of Sam; cherished daughter of the late Joseph and Fanny (nee Gentile) Carmigiano; dearest sister of Sandy (wife Kathleen), Betty Miklausich (husband Frank), Sam (Kathy Hansen) and Sandra “Chick” Speck (husband Carl); loving step-mother of Joey, Lorie and Jimmy and step-grandmother of many; dear aunt, great-aunt, great-great-aunt and cousin of many.
Heaven welcomed another angel on April 5, 2025 when Mimi passed away. During her earthly life, Mary Grace “Mimi” Gentile was a loving soul. She was kind and friendly with a sense of humor, but, more importantly, had a good and giving heart. She absolutely adored her nieces, nephews and cousins and that feeling was mutual. Mimi was born in the Cleveland area on June 11, 1953 and graduated from Chardon High School in 1971. After obtaining her associate’s degree at Lakeland Community College, she was employed as an Administrative Assistant in the healthcare field. Mimi and her husband, Sam, enjoyed life residing in Huntsburg, just outside of Chardon, where she spent many cheerful hours creating and personalizing her crafts to lovingly give to others. Mimi’s love and kindhearted smile will live on in the memories of her devoted family and circle of friends.
