MARY ESTELLE BOSCO (nee Toner), age 98; beloved wife of the late Dominic D.; loving mother of John W. (Becky Milia), Virginia M. Hollis (husband George), Donna M. Tobin (husband Kevin) and Marybeth; devoted grandmother of Michael and John D. (wife Lisa), Steven (wife Beth), David (wife Melinda) and Mark (wife Rachel) Hollis, and Lisa Caron (husband Stacy), Sarah, Timothy (wife Gina), Megan and Brian Tobin, and great-grandmother of 17; dearest daughter of the late Stella (nee Foster) and John E. Toner; cherished sister of Margaret Hutchinson and the following deceased: Claire Brooks, Judge John J. Toner, Loretta Toner, James Toner, Geraldine Toner, Virginia Toner and Estelle Mahon; dear aunt and great-aunt of many.

Mary was born November 18, 1912 in Cleveland. She lived 13 years in Mayfield Heights previously residing in Eastlake. Mary was a graduate of Immaculate Conception Catholic School in Cleveland and Ursuline Academy. She was a member of St. Francis of Assisi and a founding member of St. Mary Magdalene Catholic Church as well as volunteering time in the Isabella Guild of the Knights of Columbus and the Alhambra Mahdi Caravan. Mary also belonged to the Legion of Mary and the Irish American Club along with assisting at Villa Angela and St. Joseph High Schools.

Mary worked as a buyer for May Company and also as an administrative assistant for Bosco Plumbing and Heating. She was very dedicated to her family and her faith and also took time to enjoy Indians and Browns games.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Mary’s memory to Mt. St. Joseph Nursing Home 21800 Chardon Road, Euclid, 44117. Mass of Christian Burial Monday, February 7, 2011 at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church at 10 AM. Burial following at All Souls Cemetery.

The family will receive friends to pay tribute to and celebrate the life of Mary at THE DeJOHN-FLYNN-MYLOTT FUNERAL HOME OF SOUTH EUCLID, 4600 MAYFIELD RD. (just east of Green Rd.) on Sunday, February 6, 2011 from 12 NOON – 5 PM.
