Mary Elizabeth Zembiak

MARY ELIZABETH “BETH” ZEMBIAK (nee Fenton) age 72, loving mother of Daniel, Jeff (wife Nicole), Laura Ippolito (husband Mike) and Kelly Korce (husband Dave); devoted grandmother of Nicole, Jennifer and Anthony Ippolito, Sarah, Madeline, Daniel and Andrew Zembiak, Matthew, Jonathan, Joshua and Michael Korce; cherished daughter of the late Ely and Mary (nee Crawford) Fenton.

Beth was born on February 7, 1945 in Pennsylvania and passed away on May 1, 2017. She grew up in Maple Heights, Ohio and has resided in Newbury, Burton, Lyndhurst, and Chardon. Beth was a member of Fellowship Bible Church where she was active with Bible Study. Beth graduated from Maple Heights High School and graduated Summa Cum Laude from Dyke College with a Bachelor of Arts degree. She worked for Squire Sanders and Dempsey as a paralegal. Beth loved bingo, reading, ceramics, solitaire, Wheel of Fortune and Jeopardy. She loved the Cleveland Indians. Spending time with her family was what Beth enjoyed the most in life. She will be remembered as a kind, loving, forgiving, strong and brilliant woman. Beth was family oriented and religious. She will be dearly missed.

Family will receive friends to pay tribute to and celebrate the life of Beth at THE DeJOHN FUNERAL HOME & CELEBRATIONS CENTER OF CHESTERLAND 12811 CHILLICOTHE ROAD (Rt. 306, just south of Mayfield Rd.)  FRIDAY 4-8 PM. Services private with burial at Maple Hill Cemetery.
