Mary Elizabeth Young

MARY ELIZABETH YOUNG (nee Chyall) age 72, beloved wife of Steven Young; loving mother of Sarah Rock (husband Brian) and Erin Reitz (husband Steven); devoted grandmother of Emma and Ryann; cherished daughter of the late Hubert and Gertrude (nee Ebert) Chyall; and friend of many.

Mary was a lifetime horse enthusiast, dog lover, and exceptional teacher. She was always patient and willing to help. Mary volunteered at the Fieldstone Farm and worked at the Geauga County Board of Elections.

Contributions may be made in memory of Mary to Fieldstone Farm or Rescue Village in lieu of flowers.

Celebration of Life Service Monday, February 28, 2022, at 12 PM at THE FUNERAL HOME. Entombment following at Western Reserve Memorial Gardens. Family will receive friends to pay tribute to and celebrate the life of Mary at THE DeJOHN FUNERAL HOME & CELEBRATIONS CENTER OF CHESTERLAND 12811 CHILLICOTHE ROAD (Rt. 306, just south of Mayfield Rd.) Monday, February 28 from 10am until time of service.
