Mary Ann Carlson

MARY ANN CARLSON (nee Ference), age 74; beloved mother of Todd and Christopher; loving grandmother of Izabelle and Zoe; dearest sister of Robert, Roy and the late James Ference and Eileen Ferguson; dear aunt and great-aunt.

Mary Ann was born in Pittsburgh, but lived in Cleveland Heights since 1966.  She was always a very caring and giving person, shown by her career as a Psychiatric Nurse at St. Luke’s Hospital and through her involvement with her church.  Mary Ann was a very active member of Church of the Redeemer for the past 30 years.  She served on the Mission Committee, as a Lay Speaker and Lay Delegate to Annual Conference, worked on Reconciling Ministry Network, taught Bible Study and Disciple Bible Study.  Mary Ann also enjoyed cooking and knitting.  She had a passion for mission, diversity and inclusion of all and will be remembered for her loyalty and faith, determination and compassion for others, especially for the least of her sisters and brothers.

Service of Death and Resurrection Wednesday, July 15, 2015 at the Church of the Redeemer United Methodist Church at 11 AM. Burial Private.
