Martin John Nyari

Born on May 27, 1943 in Cleveland, and passed away on May 5, 2024. A loving and caring husband devoted to his wife and soul-mate, Alice (nee Kovalak) for 55 years. They were married on August 10, 1968. Son of the late Martin and Mary Nyari, and beloved son-in-law of the late Samuel and Rosa Kovalak. Brother-in-law of Samuel and Renee Kovalak, and Christopher and Carol Martin, dear uncle of Kevin (wife Niesha) Kovalak, Sarah Siegal (husband Jason), Emily Starr (husband Keith), Kimberly Myers (husband Christopher) and Laura Miller (husband John), dear great-uncle of James Dagger, Gabriel Kovalak, Noah Kovalak, Zerahia Kovalak, Asher Siegel, Kinsley Miller, Chase Miller, Finnigan and Ellie Starr, dear cousin and friend to many.

Martin and Alice loved and enjoyed boating since 1977, their many car trips to Florida, and going to Florida by train, Amtrak Cross Country train travel, and Caribbean cruises. Marty was an avid pet lover/parent to his fury friends (Coco, Muffi and Holly) and enjoyed long walks. He was loving and caring and will be missed by many. He loved doing special impromptu road trips, to Amish Country and the Lake Erie Islands.  He was a member of Local # 707 Union Painter / Paper Hanger with 56 years of service. Martin and his wife Alice are Point Yacht Club Members since 1980. Martin was also a United States Army Veteran who was very proud of his service to his country.

Relatives and friends are requested to meet for the Mass of Christian Burial Wednesday, May 22, 2024, at St. Noel Catholic Church, 35200 Chardon Rd., Willoughby Hills, at 11 AM. Burial following in All Souls Cemetery. The family will receive friends to pay tribute and celebrate the life of Marty at THE DeJOHN-FLYNN-MYLOTT FUNERAL HOME OF SOUTH EUCLID, 4600 MAYFIELD RD. (just East of Green Rd.) TUESDAY 5 – 7 PM.
