Martha Foster

MARTHA ANN FOSTER (nee Woodley) age 82, beloved wife of the late Gilbert C.; loving mother of Thomas D. (deceased) (wife Leigh), Ellen S. Reilly (husband Frank) and Todd C. (wife Mary); devoted grandmother of Sherry Mohner (husband Joseph), Annie Harstine (husband Cliffton), Shawn Reilly (Ashley Jaklic), Thomas, Jake, Kelly and Sarah Foster and great-grandmother of Reilly, William and Rose; dearest sister of Mary Lou Miller (husband Dutch, deceased); dear aunt and great-aunt passed away June 19, 2015.

Martha was born April 24, 1933 in Cleveland, OH and lived most of her life in Wickliffe, after previously residing in East Cleveland.  She was a member of Wickliffe Presbyterian Church and was active in OES Eastern Star and TKR from Shaw High School.  Martha enjoyed camping, traveling, Disney, her animals and cooking and baking, especially for the holidays.  Her favorite holiday was Christmas, her favorite music was Christmas music and she and her husband enjoyed playing Mr. & Mrs. Claus at many schools in the area.  Mostly, Martha loved her family.  She will be remembered for her determination and for her devotion to her family.

Contributions may be made in Martha’s memory to your favorite local animal shelter. Celebration of Life Service Tuesday, June, 23, 2015, at THE DeJOHN-FLYNN-MYLOTT FUNERAL HOME OF WILLOUGHBY HILLS 28890 CHARDON ROAD (between Bishop Rd. and Rt. 91) at 10 AM. Burial following at Acacia Park Cemetery. Family will receive friends to pay tribute to and celebrate the life of Martha at the FUNERAL HOME MONDAY 3-5 and 6-8 PM.
