Marlene R. Levine

Marlene R. Levine, 79, of Willoughby Hills and formerly of Pittsburgh, PA, passed away July 5, 2013 in Cleveland. She was born December 27, 1933 in Pittsburgh, PA.

Marlene was a member and frequent volunteer at Willoughby Hills United Methodist Church. A graduate of Turtle Creek High School in Pittsburgh Marlene was an Administrative Assistant for Merit Care in Pittsburgh, where she lived until her move to Willoughby Hills 5 years ago. She was an avid reader who many will remember for her understanding and caring ways.

She is survived by her son, Mark R. (Cameron); daughter Marcie A. (Robert C. Lovell) of Willoughby Hills; sister Alice Engleman of Pittsburgh; and was “Oma” to her grandchildren David and Luci Levine and Mason and Clayton Lovell and great-grandchild Savannah Levine.

Marlene was preceded in death by her husband Marvin S. ; parents Michael and Rose (Hnatiw) Lesnick; and sister Ann Joseph.

Celebrate of Life Service in memory of Marlene will be 11 AM Saturday, July 20, 2013 at Willoughby Hills United Methodist Church, 34201 Eddy Rd., Willoughby Hills, OH 44094. Pastor Dr. Hazel Partinton will officiate. Family will receive friends immediately following service in the Fellowship Hall at the Church.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Marlene’s memory to Zimbabwe Connection, Ministry to Orphans in Africa.
