Mark Szabados

MARK J. SZABADOS age 43, cherished son of Joel and Maryann (nee Petrus) and step-son of Nancy Szabados; loving brother of Rebecca, Dominic (Ashley Chedrick) and Lauren and step-brother of Christopher and Jennifer Krupa; dear nephew, cousin, and friend of many; dear uncle of his canine friends Coco, Layla, and Maximus.

Mark was born on December 17, 1972 and passed away on July 21, 2016. He was a ten year resident of Cleveland previously of Cleveland Heights. Mark graduated from Cleveland Hts High School and received his political science degree from Cleveland State University. He attended Holy Rosary Catholic Church. Mark worked as a paralegal IT in a law firm. He was an avid Cleveland sports fan and Buckeye football fan and loved his Browns, Cavs and Indians. Mark collected sports memorabilia and was a history buff, and enjoyed listening to Pearl Jam. He could be described as kind, gentle, good hearted, generous and sweet by his family and friends. Mark will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

Mass of Christian Burial Thursday, July 28, 2016 at 10 AM at Holy Rosary Catholic Church 12021 Mayfield Rd, Cleveland, OH 44106. Burial following at All Souls Cemetery. Family will receive friends to pay tribute to and celebrate the life of Mark at THE DeJOHN-FLYNN-MYLOTT FUNERAL HOME OF SOUTH EUCLID, 4600 MAYFIELD RD. (just east of Green Rd.) WEDNESDAY 4-8 PM.

FAMILY SUGGESTS CLEVELAND CAVALIERS ATTIRE MAY BE WORN ON WEDNESDAY AND WOULD BE WELCOME AND APPROPRIATE IN HONORING MARK’S LOVE FOR THE CAVS.
