Mark Pickus

MARK L. PICKUS age 55, cherished son of Herbert and Else (nee Rosenmeier); dearest brother of Karen Ryan and the late David and Linda; dearest uncle of David and LCPL Daniel Ryan USMC; dear nephew, cousin and friend of many.

Mark was born on October 5, 1961 in Cleveland and passed away on February 8, 2017. He was a resident of Northfield for 30 years, formerly of Mayfield Heights. Mark was a pipe fitter and a member of Union Local #120. He graduated from Mayfield High School in 1979. Mark loved sailing, fishing, hiking, scuba diving, and bowling. He enjoyed traveling, especially to Chesapeake Bay, Niagara Falls and the Lake Erie Islands. Mark loved to landscape and was very proud of his landscaping. He will be remembered most as a feisty, determined and hardworking man who had a great sense of humor. Mark was very organized and neat. He loved to make lists of daily reminders on post-it notes. Mark was fun loving and a lady’s man. He will be dearly missed.

Celebration of Life Service Wednesday, February 15, 2017 at 7 PM at The Funeral Home. Cremation following by DeJohn Crematory. Family will receive friends to pay tribute to and celebrate the life of Mark at THE DeJOHN-FLYNN-MYLOTT FUNERAL HOME OF WILLOUGHBY HILLS, 28890 CHARDON ROAD (between Bishop Rd. and Rt. 91) WEDNESDAY 4-7 PM.
