Mark Mitchel Hanley passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on November 30. Mark was born into a large Irish Catholic family, in Fort Wayne Indiana on August 25, 1950.  Shortly after, his family settled in Bay Village, OH where he spent most of his childhood. As a junior in high school, he moved to Illinois where he graduated from Lake Forest High School and met the love of his life, Marsha. The two were inseparable & free-spirited, living in places such as Lake Tahoe, Telluride, and Aspen, eventually settling in Newbury, Ohio, where they raised their 5 children. As a logger, the woods became his sanctuary for much of his life. He transitioned into manufacturing equipment sales where he had a highly successful career working for Mitsubishi Electric for over 30 years. He was a fierce competitor and the most talented salesman in the business. As a dealer, he consistently received top sales in the nation and was truly a pioneer in his craft. Mark was the definition of hard work. The only thing that he loved more than hard work and big trees was his wife and family. Generous and welcoming, Mark was an engaging and colorful storyteller. He was fiercely energetic and at the same time calming and comforting to anyone in his presence.  People loved to be with him, especially his 8 grandchildren. He had a bright smile and a contagious laugh. Mark never fell short of providing for his family, friends, and those who crossed his path. His generosity and love for those he cared for were apparent in all he did. Those who loved him, LOVED him. He will forever be missed.
