Mark Colgan

MARK E. COLGAN age 54, beloved husband of Rebecca Wu; cherished son of C. Patrick and Zita (nee Burrell); dearest brother of Sharon.

Mark was born in Cleveland on November 2, 1963 and passed away December 8, 2017. He graduated from Hawken School. He continued his education and received degrees from Cornell University and UCLA. Mark served his residency at  the University of Florida – Gainesville. He worked as a medical physicist, and was a member of the professional organizations ASTRO, AAPM, and DABR.

Mark loved dogs, and gave his time volunteering at animal shelters. He also enjoyed scuba diving, and even swam with dolphins. Mark loved his wife Rebecca and all of his family. He was kindhearted, and excelled at his academic endeavors and cared greatly for the patients he took care of. Mark will be dearly missed.

Mass of Christian Burial Friday, December 22, 2017 at Sacred Heart of Jesus Parish, 1545 S Green Rd., South Euclid OH at 1:30 PM. Cremation by DeJohn Crematory. Family will receive friends and pay tribute to the life of Mark at THE CHURCH Friday at 1 PM. Arrangements by THE DeJOHN-FLYNN-MYLOTT FUNERAL HOME.
